Great friendly doctor office. They make a person feel like comfortable.
I arrived at 750, posted hours day they open at 8. Door was not unlocked until almost 810. I was then the first to sign in out of five. The gentleman after me had an 8am appointment. At 850 I asked for my money back. Two people had been called back but not those of us who were there first, even if we had appointments. With shortness of breath I drove to Claremore instead.
I have been patient of Dr. Hubbard's for many years and he is an excellent doctor and it is very unfortunate that his staff at axis Healthcare is far below par. His office manager (at least she introduced herself as such) Julie is probably one of the rudest women I have ever encountered in my entire life time. Considering that she works in the field of medicine and people are sick and not feeling well, having to deal with her on top of that was is an excruciating experience every time I have to go in to see him. She spoke out loudly personal medical information about myself in front of other patients and in front of my friend who was in the waiting room. She called me a liar twice, straight up. I was not lying about anything and getting an apology out of her was like pulling teeth there's much more to it she's always been rude on the phone and it goes even beyond that. I plan on finding the person I need to speak with in Axis who can help me. I hope I can help some other poor souls that may wander in there not knowing she's getting ready to verbally degrade and attack them while they're already not feeling well.
I love my doctor. Dr.Lackey is the best. I didn't not care for Dr. Hubbard,he acted like my shoulder pain was nothing. He said u will be ok,well far from the truth. I had a herniated disk in my kneck that was pinnching a nerve causing my sever pain. I ended up having surgery.
I live out of town- if I have other appts I sched around appts @ Axis (Inola) 4 day b4 or after. Last min Axis change's appt so in turn I've had 2 cancel other appt which they can't resched (4 next day)@ such short notice.There's also been up to 1 -2hr waiting time past my sched appt.
